I'm a full-stack developer in Canada with strengths in visual design, attention-to-detail, hand coding, and developing to industry standards. I'm a motivated individual with strong organizational skills and diligent work habits (always putting my best into whatever I do).

OVERVIEW: Full-stack web developer with more than 9 years of fast-paced, industry experience. I'm a problem solver that enjoys tackling both interesting and complicated problems and following them through to the end. Have a love for database structure, dynamic web applications, optimizing code, and integrating advanced functionality by the means of APIs.

What I Do

Back-end development

Using a LAMP stack, develop strong website plugins for data-driven code. PHP is my weapon, and whether it be vanilla or spiced with ExpressionEngine or perhaps WordPress, I am a coding machine.

Front-end development

Being facinated with CSS since high school, I will nowadays incorporate some jQuery and JavaScript for dynamic webpages that work on all devices. I am also familiar with AODA AA Compliance techniques to make the web accessible for all!

Graphic design

One of my favourite things is organizing images and text. Need an article done up? Poster? Logo perhaps? I can design something you will like for years to come. I also have photography skills that are transferrable to my other talents.

Database design

Data is my friend. I enjoy organizing data, keeping code DRY, and making pages with content dynamically pulled from a database. MySQL is my go-to but I am dabbling more in Python, which leads me to other databases. Python is a great tool for large datasets, and I even did a whole Data Science part-time program at Brainstation in Toronto during autumn of 2017.
